Human-Centered Design

Designing connects me to people in such an intimate way.

Drawing upon my background in costume design, everything started with the world and the characters in it. Not the clothes. Why the worn jeans? Or the grass stains on the edge of a dress? What colors provoke an emotion of seduction or courage? What kind of jobs do they have? What cars do they drive?

In the same way, that's how I approach designing Untucked pieces.

I have to enter into the lives of all kinds of women and shadow their worlds so I can create the best outfit to carry them confidently throughout their day, from the opening of their closet to the closing of their laptop.
